The Jury members will draw up a list of eligible vehicles of all the new models presented over the previous 12 months. Eligible vehicles must essentially be the latest models and preference will be given to fresh models. Face lifted models with minor cosmetic and technological alterations will not be considered unless the changes majorly upgrade the vehicles overall performance and quality. They may however be considered upon the special discretion of Jury members in case of specific alterations. Such vehicles will be subject to approval from more than 5 Jury members depending on the regions the vehicle is found available

All international car manufacturers are considered, however, they must be available for sale in at least 5 Middle Eastern countries at the time of voting. The Juries are allowed to give the benefit of doubt for vehicles they haven’t driven; however, they have an option not to vote for any such vehicle if they choose to as well.

The Jury will rate the nominated cars based on streamlined voting score cards on a scale of 1 – 5 points; 1 being the minimum and 5 being the maximum score. The score card ensures precise, accurate and transparent results and the points reflect the following:

point = Below Average point = Satisfactory point = Brilliant
point = Average point = Good
